【Jazz Signature: Bun x Jonas Cho x Nelson Fung】定居多倫多的香港爵士鋼琴手

Bun 是一位爵士鋼琴手與即興音樂人，曾活躍於香港多個爵士單位，包括 Fountain de Chopin、Laubak 及 Wontonmeen。現定居多倫多，並曾與 James Griffith、Norbert Botos 等傑出音樂家合作演出。

Bun 主要自學爵士鋼琴，深受 Branford Marsalis 與 Kenny Kirkland 的影響，其鋼琴演奏同時富有爆發力以及旋律性，令人期待。

在本次於 CODA Jazz Kissa 的演出中，Bun 將攜同好友與爵士樂好手Jonas Cho及Nelson Fung，帶來多首經典但少被現場演出的 jazz standards，並加入他與友人的原創作品。

這場演出將結合過去熟悉的默契，以及近年新生活的經歷，在即興中探索聲音與節奏的可能性。

Bun is a jazz pianist and improvisational musician who was previously active in several Hong jazz groups in Hong Kong, including Fountain de Chopin, Laubak, and Wontonmeen. Now based in Toronto, he has performed with outstanding musicians such as James Griffith and Norbert Botos.

Primarily a self-taught jazz pianist, Bun is deeply influenced by Branford Marsalis and Kenny Kirkland. His piano playing is both explosive and melodic, making his performances highly anticipated.

For this performance at CODA Jazz Kissa, Bun will be pairing up with old friends and very fine musicians; Jonas Cho & Nelson Fung, presenting a selection of classic but rarely performed jazz standards, along with original compositions by himself and his friends. 

This performance will blend past camaraderie with experiences from his new life in recent years, exploring the possibilities of sound and rhythm through improvisation.
