【Jazz Signature: Ming Chan x Eric Chong x Fatt Lun】

低音提琴手 Ming Chan 與吉他手 Fatt Lun 來自樂隊 Quadpolar，兩人長年深耕於爵士融合樂，此次將首度與擅長咆勃與現代爵士的吉他手 Eric Chong 同台，展開一場以吉他為核心的音樂對話。

演出曲目以向傳奇吉他手致敬為主軸，包括 Pat Metheny 的〈Bright Size Life〉、John Scofield 的〈No Matter What〉，以及 Wes Montgomery 的經典曲目。特別值得一提的是，他們也將重新詮釋 The Beatles 的經典作品（敬請期待），以爵士語彙賦予熟悉旋律一個新的生命。

此外，Fatt Lun 與 Eric Chong 也將發表多首原創作品，如〈Serenade behind the Ice〉、〈Happy Songs〉與〈Groove 1〉等，展現本地爵士樂手的聲音世界。

在簡潔的三重奏編制中，低音提琴鋪陳節奏基底，兩把吉他則在旋律與即興之間相互應和，呈現爵士樂中對話與聆聽的本質。

Bassist Ming Chan and guitarist Fatt Lun of the band Quadpolar—both seasoned practitioners of jazz fusion—will join forces with guitarist Eric Chong, a specialist in bebop and modern jazz, for their first collaborative performance. Together, they will engage in a guitar-centered musical dialogue that honors tradition while embracing contemporary expression.

The program pays homage to legendary guitarists, featuring works such as Pat Metheny's Bright Size Life, John Scofield's No Matter What, and selections from Wes Montgomery's classic repertoire. Notably, the ensemble will also reinterpret one of The Beatles' timeless piece (stay tuned!), breathing new life into the beloved melody through a jazz lens.

Original compositions by Fatt Lun and Eric Chong—including Serenade Behind the Ice, Happy Songs, and Groove 1—will further showcase their creative range, bridging influences from classic to contemporary.

Within the lean framework of a trio, Ming's bass lays a rhythmic foundation, while two guitars converse in melody and improvisation, embodying the essential jazz virtues of listening and dialogue.
