The movement remains fitted with its original enamel dial and matching hands, making it an attractive restoration project or donor movement. Tavannes was one of Switzerland's most significant movement manufacturers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, producing quality movements supplied to numerous watch brands worldwide.

The movement is marked "Swiss Made" and also carries a reference to a US patent dated 24 May 1904. The balance is not currently spinning freely and no stem is present. The enamel dial displays an attractive Art Nouveau-style numeral design and retains good overall appearance despite some damage around the edge.
