Description:
A beautifully presented antique Swiss silver cased pocket watch dating to the early 20th century, featuring an ornate engraved 0.935 silver case and a highly decorative enamel dial. The watch is fitted with a quality Swiss movement stamped “G.T.” for Gédéon Thommen, the respected Swiss maker whose company later evolved into Revue Thommen.

The watch has a particularly attractive white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, gilt decorative detailing, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The finely engraved silver case features floral and geometric decoration to both the rear cover and side band, giving the watch a very elegant appearance.

The movement is stem wound and pin set, running well. A lovely collector’s piece with strong visual appeal and a connection to one of Switzerland’s historic watchmaking firms. Supplied in a Bowles Ltd gift box.
