【Jazz Signature: Ted Lo x Niklas Winter - Dedications】香港爵士鋼琴教父帶來芬蘭好手同台演出

香港爵士鋼琴教父Ted Lo將帶來他來自在芬蘭的好友吉他手Niklas Winter，於CODA 重聚，以共通的爵士語言再一次深入地作文化交流。

作為伯克利音樂學院校友、2021年《Tatler》亞洲最具影響力人物，羅尚正體現了爵士樂的時代演進。其藝術生涯橫跨與Ron Carter、Herbie Mann等傳奇音樂家的經典合作。他從紐約Blue Note到蒙特勒爵士節的舞台都留有足跡，近年亦再次推出個人獨奏專輯，展現的歷久彌新的鋼琴藝術造詣。

Niklas Winter以北歐寧靜的聲優，推出超過十張專輯，他亦在全球各地巡演，音樂履歷十分豐富。他曾與Kenny Wheeler、Ulf Wakenius等大師的合作，樂評譽其作品「既具冥思性又充滿搖擺律動」（London Jazz News）。

這場特別演出將包涵爵士標準曲與Niklas的原創作品，亦會向經典的爵士二重奏專輯致敬，包括Jim Hall與Bill Evans的 “Undercurrent” 以及Stan Getz與Kenny Barron的 “People Time” ，展開港式典雅與北歐空靈的美學對話。

Hong Kong's jazz patriarch Ted Lo reunites with Finnish guitarist Niklas Winter at CODA Jazz Kissa, where two old friends will continue their cross-cultural exchange through the universal language of jazz. This intimate musical conversation promises to be both a homecoming and an exploration of shared artistic territories.

A Berklee College of Music alumnus and 2021 Tatler Asia's Most Influential honoree, Ted Lo embodies the evolution of jazz across generations. His distinguished career includes landmark collaborations with legends such as Ron Carter and Herbie Mann, with performances spanning from New York's Blue Note to the Montreux Jazz Festival. In recent years, his solo piano recordings have revealed an artist continually refining a timeless musical voice.

Niklas Winter brings the serene sonic aesthetic of Northern Europe, expressed through ten acclaimed albums and extensive international touring. His collaborations with masters like Kenny Wheeler and Ulf Wakenius showcase a musician the London Jazz News described as creating music "both meditative and swinging."

The program will feature standards from the American Songbook alongside original compositions from Niklas. Music will be played in the spirit of Jim Hall & Bill Evans’ “Undercurrent” and Stan Getz & Kenny Barron’s “People Time”, creating a dialogue between Hong Kong elegance and Nordic atmospherics—where sophisticated urban lyricism meets contemplative Scandinavian beauty.
