【Jazz Future: Miles Kobayashi Trio】

小號手 Miles Kobayashi 在香港爵士樂圈中成長，從小深受音樂薰陶。在父親 David Kobayashi 的悉心指導下，他在本地充滿活力的音樂社群中學習並與多位樂手同台演出。目前於多倫多大學深造爵士樂的他，在紮根於Swing與Bebop傳統的同時，亦致力於將多倫多深厚的爵士底蘊與香港的音樂色彩連結，形塑出獨特的個人風格。

本次演出，Miles 將聯同鼓手 Jerry Kan 及低音提琴手 Chun Leung  組成三重奏，呈獻一系列他們鍾愛的經典爵士標準曲。

Raised in the Hong Kong jazz scene, Miles Kobayashi grew up surrounded by the music, learning from and performing with the city’s vibrant community under the mentorship of his father, David Kobayashi. Now studying Jazz at the University of Toronto, Miles draws deeply from the traditions of swing and bebop while shaping a voice that bridges Toronto’s rich jazz lineage with the sounds of Hong Kong. 

Joining Miles for this special trio performance are Jerry Kan on drums and Chun Leung on bass. Together, they’ll be playing a selection of their favorite jazz standards.
