【Jazz Signature: Matt Snow x Pekka Pylkkänen x Bowen Li】紐約‧赫爾辛基‧香港的音樂對話

我們誠摯邀請您參與這場難得的音樂盛會：來自三大洲的三位爵士音樂家將首度同台。美國低音提琴手Matt Snow（紐約）、芬蘭薩克斯風演奏家Pekka Pylkkänen（赫爾辛基），以及香港鋼琴家李梓禾，將在CODA Jazz Kissa展開一場即興對話。音樂將融合美式搖擺樂的節奏張力、北歐風格的詩意旋律，以及香港獨特的爵士美學。

Matt Snow以其突破流派的音樂視野聞名，身為紐約傳奇爵士俱樂部Smalls Jazz Club Jam Session的常駐音樂家，他將帶來紐約客特有的節奏魅力。演出足跡遍佈70多國的Pekka Pylkkänen，以超過2500場演出淬煉出斯堪地那維亞半島的清澈音色。而剛發行首張專輯《Unemployed》的翻騰三周半與CODA Jazz Kissa共同創辦人李梓禾，將以他多元的音樂素養為三重奏奠定基礎。

這不是一場精心編排的演出，而是三位音樂人即時尋找共同語言的藝術實驗。兩個45分鐘的演出中，在三位從未見面的情況下，只有對音樂的信任、冒險精神，以及全神貫注的聆聽才會帶來活生生的爵士音樂。

最動人的合作，往往始於探索而非定見。

We are proud to announce that we will host a singular musical event: the first-ever meeting of three jazz innovators from three continents. American bassist Matt Snow (New York), Finnish saxophonist Pekka Pylkkänen (Helsinki), and Hong Kong pianist Bowen Li will share the stage for an unrehearsed dialogue—a collision of distinct musical dialects spanning American swing, Nordic lyricism, and jazz sensibilities paired with cantonese upbringing.

Snow, known for his genre-defying ensembles, also hosting jam sessions at the renowned ‘Smalls Jazz Club’, brings a New Yorker’s rhythmic grit. Pylkkänen, a veteran performing in over 70+ countries, contributes Scandinavian clarity honed over 2,500 concerts. Li, co-founder of Fountain de Chopin & CODA Jazz Kissa, also recently released his debut album “Unemployed”, anchors the trio with his musicality. 

This isn’t about prepared material, it’s about three storytellers finding a common vocabulary in real time. The format—two sets of jazz without rehearsal—invites risk-taking, musical trust and constant listening. 

For audiences, it’s a chance to witness jazz’s borderless ethos in action. The best collaborations begin as questions, not statements.
