The Sky Drive speedometer sending unit turns your electronic speedometer into a GPS controlled speedometer by allowing it to receive a signal from the Global Positioning System (GPS). GPS triangulation allows for accurate speed measurement, eliminates the need for calibration while driving, and allows for the use of a speedometer that measures speed in Miles Per Hour (MPH), Kilometers Per Hour (KPH), or Knots. Th e Sky Drive does not require an additional speed sensor from the transmission and the omnidirectional antenna allows for a variety of mounting locations. Additional programming at the time of order allows for compatibility with existing cruise control or speed controlled relay, and for the Sky Fence feature which allows the activation of any relay triggered device to deter vehicle theft. The Sky Drive allows for only one additional programming option.
