BCS (British Colour Standard, Ltd.) was established in 1931 to accurately scan and archive old color dictionaries that detailed natural pigments along with the flora, gemstones, and spices from which they were derived and the fauna that they imitated. (Hey, somebody had to do it!)  In 2024, their boldly colorful yet exquisitely simple candle holders tell the rest of the story—made from recycled bubble glass, BCS is committed to sustainably made, organically colored products and fair-trade labor practices.
