The Cassiopeia constellation was found in the Northern sky, which was named after Queen Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda – a name that our OPEIA jewellery collection here at Berry’s Jewellers derived from. The series represents five generations of our prestigious jewellery business and 125 years of innovative, unique hand-crafted designs. The pieces focus heavily on a repeated series of circular motifs – a symbol of infinity. Timeless round brilliant-cut diamonds also add a burst of radiance and fire to each design and are arranged to form a five-pointed star that represents the five generations of Berry’s Jewellers. This OPEIA large diamond circle pendant is crafted from polished 18ct yellow gold and features five large round brilliant-cut diamonds held inside classic four-claw settings. These larger stones are followed by a series of graduating round brilliant-cut diamonds, creating the impression of moving comets that leave a trail of shimmering light as they glide through the night sky. The five-pointed diamond circle pendant hangs from a matching 18ct yellow gold chain, adorned with two additional round brilliant-cut diamonds set in rub-over settings. The 18-inch chain of the OPEIA large diamond circle pendant secures to the back of the neck with a refined fastening and features a “B” Berry’s motif. The diamonds chosen for this design amount to a total weight of 2.23 carats, and each stone has a colour and clarity grading of G and VS.
