This curiously chic, slim floral tapestry vintage evening bag is surprisingly roomy. A superb example of Austrian tent stitch, the bag combines old school elegance with contemporary slow  fashion style. 

Probably dating from the 1930s, the bag has a gold coloured metal chain strap, and a leaf motif embellished gold frame. The hand stitched satin interior of the bag has a small lipstick stain (as shown), but otherwise, this bag is in very good condition. The bag measures 8.5 inches wide x 5 inches high (see photos for measurements in cm). The same design is used on both sides of the bag.
