Possibly a one-off, this unique velvet tie belt top looks like it has stepped straight off the catwalk, and the chocolatey violet colour is good enough to eat. Made from the most exquisitely soft silk velvet with beading detail on the waistband, the crossover top has a stand up collar and plunging neckline, and features cleverly draped pleating. The sleeves are gathered into long cuffs and secured with velvet covered buttons. The belt looks like it is designed to be tied at the side, but could also be tied at the back. The jacket is fully lined and beautifully finished. Wear as a jacket over a silk petticoat dress, or over jeans or dressy trousers. 

Size: There are no size markings, but this would fit a UK size 8 to 12. The top is around 16.5 inches/42 cm long. 

Composition: The composition label has been removed, but this appears to be highest quality silk velvet. Professional dry clean only.

Condition: Very good pre-worn vintage condition.
