No — the panel arrives bare carbon fiber. You'll want to apply a UV-protective clear coat before installation to preserve the weave and prevent oxidation over time. A quality automotive clear coat (2K or equivalent) will keep the finish looking fresh and protect against UV yellowing.

Will the edges show exposed carbon, or do they need sealing?

The edges are raw carbon fiber. Before final installation, sand and seal the perimeter edges with epoxy or a dedicated edge sealant to prevent delamination and moisture intrusion where the panel meets body panels and weatherstripping.

Do I need to remove anything from my trunk to install this?
