We love this gorgeous edition to our Kintsugi-inspired range. Made in our Brighton workshop this necklace features a silver tag pendant which is engraved with a Kintsugi-inspired design which is filled with a gold colour fill. The pendant is suspended from a 24" length of faux leather cord which can easily be cut to length.
The Kintsugi Tag Necklace is inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which translated means to "patch with gold". It is a Japanese art form in which breaks and repairs are treated as part of the object's wonderful history. Instead of hiding away the repairs, Kintsugi celebrates them, fills them with gold and turns them into the focal point.
Kintsugi isn't about perfection, it is about seeing the beauty in imperfection.
