The Hook known as Makau in Hawaiian culture, carries significant symbolism for Hawaii, representing the provider and embodying various legends. According to one tale, the demigod Maui utilized the Hook to lift the Hawaiian Islands from the depths of the sea. Our Tribal Hawaiian Hook Long Sleeve Shirt features a small Hawaiian Hook on the front left and a larger design on the back. It is crafted from 100% garment dyed cotton which features a soft prewashed 100% cotton fabric. The garment dying process gives you a soft broken in feeling on your new shirt.  Also, the dyeing process gives a unique high and low in color for each individual shirt, making it a guaranteed one of kind.
