This highland single malt whisky has been matured in a combo of hogshead with a finish of 1st fill roussanne for 11 years, it was bottled up for the permutations series by the independent bottler Fib.

Tasting Notes

The palate begins with a slightly zingy tropical note like pineapple chunks, moving to a more complex centre of lightly toasted hazelnuts and the skin of the fruit, complemented by a little fresh cinnamon. There is a nice hint of good quality high cocoa milk chocolate, with a nice degree of sweetness. The finish is long, fruity, and slightly spiced, tingling on the tongue. A surprisingly light, yet tasty dram. A bit like sipping a tropical cocktail from a coconut.
