T31648 Metal Shrinker/Stretcher Combo Pack

Switch between metal shrinking and metal stretching operations without changing your tooling!

Commonly used in autobody work, metal shrinker/stretchers make curves in sheet metal by compressing, or "shrinking," it and expanding, or "stretching," it.

It can create long, compound-curved metal pieces out of a single strip of metal without multiple splice points.

With one dedicated shrinker and one dedicated stretcher, you can clamp both tools in a vise and switch between operations without having to change out your dies.

To take full advantage of the set and to get 360° access to your workpiece, you can mount these tools to a stand intended for a bench grinder. To prevent tipping, be sure to fasten the grinder stand to the floor.

All this for less than the cost of two separate tools!
