The V52PU1440 ProShop in many ways, reflects the single pickup model first introduced in 1950 which became part of the sound track of rock and roll and popular music. It’s also the result of letting the Vintage design team loose on an original Vintage V52, now with an incredibly authentic aged Butterscotch finish and friction worn hardware.  

The same classic Wilkinson hardware is included, hardware that includes the innovative Wilkinson WTB bridge, featuring compensated saddles eliminating the age-old intonation problems often found in 3-saddle, fixed bridge designs, and Wilkinson WJ55S patented E-Z-Lok machine heads.  

The 3-way switch wiring associated with this iconic guitar design remains, with position one at the bridge bypassing the tone circuit to boost the Wilkinson WVOB pickup’s natural chime, in position two, both volume and tone controls work together, whilst forward, in position three, the pickup runs through a bass preset for extra warm jazzy tones.   

Aside from the attention to the fine details of the superb aesthetics, the V52PU1440 ProShop comes with a Vintage ProShop Set-Up:
