The founders are two friends — Brian Facquet and John Walsh — who decided to risk it all, and things are going pretty well. They started with a signature Vodka and have since expanded out to a pair of Gins, New York Bourbon, and a tasty Bourbon Cream Liqueur.

New York was originally settled by Dutch immigrants looking for a better life. That’s why the original name of New York as New Amsterdam. In dutch, "kill" means riverbed or water channel. They saw beavers in the watershed of the upper Hudson river and called it "Beaverkill."
