The three fish species of skates that are upcycled for this cartilage are sustainably caught by local fisherman off the coast of Britanny, France. The process is monitored by IFREMER (National Institute for Ocean Science) to ensure compliance.

A placebo-controlled study was conducted with women between 45 and 59 years of age over 90 days to evaluate Cartidyss® effects on wrinkles, pores, dermis thickness, hydration and feedback from users.
