This sweet little pencil drawing really captures the essence of mouse-ness, I think, and is all the better for leaving us to imagine what it is this busy mouse is holding in its paws and furtively munching on. I haven't found anything about the G. Burns who signed it, but I think he or she made a pretty perfect little thing.

The drawing is in very good overall vintage condition. There is one tiny brown spot on the paper near the body of the mouse and a visible "frame" on the paper where it lightened with age except where it was previously covered by a mat around the edges. I'd just frame it to match. 4 1/4" x 5 7/8".
