• Sound great with a 1 watt SET amp (45's) 2.5-5 watt (2A3's or 300B)

• a few small blemishes on enclosures, can only see them up close

You can use a 50-150 watt amp, but it's not necessary to get the most musical sound out of them.  They sound best with tubes, are a bit too "neutral" with solid-state.  Hybrid amps sound a bit better than SS with these speakers.  Overall, they are a neutral, accurate sounding loudspeaker, not warm and fuzzy.  I would agree on most points mentioned in the 6moons review.

Retail price in 2008 was around $8-$10,000 a pair
