19th Century Clothes Brush with Velvet Covered Ferrule and Lacquered Turned HandleThe sliver or silver plated band on this very lovely antique clothes brush shows a series of dates, from 1872 to 1881 patent dates or what I am not certain. I love it for the velvet covered ferrule, the black lacquered turned handle, and those very pale bristles, horsehair I believe, with red stitching.
