The Nye Bevan Rose is an uplifting English Shrub Rose from David Austin with soft yellow open cupped blooms that fade gently to cream. The scalloped incurved petals form a loose rosette around a striking cluster of golden stamens which creates a light airy look. The first flush is particularly impressive with well spaced sprays held above mid green semi glossy foliage. This healthy upright shrub carries a light to medium myrrh scent and will repeat flower when hips are removed after the first flush. Suitable for borders containers hedging and mixed planting it performs well in full sun or partial shade on all soil types. Introduced in 2021 it was named in honour of Aneurin Nye Bevan and the NHS.
