This elastomeric “formed-in-place" material is more reliable and longer lasting than pre-cut gaskets. It is blowout resistant and protects against leaks and seepage caused by vibration and thermal expansion. Formulated to meet or exceed performance standards for long-term sealability, durability and handling, this material is used on OEM production lines and specified in their service parts programs. Temperature range -75 Degree Fahrenheit to 450 Degree Fahrenheit (-59 Degree Celsius to 232 Degree Celsius) continuous, 500 Degree Fahrenheit (260 Degree Celsius) intermittent; resists ATF, coolant, oil and other shop fluids. The Right Stuff® Grey Instant Gasket Maker - 5oz

Specifically designed to perform under higher torque loads associated with engines having closely spaced bolt patterns (typically import vehicles). This product is blowout resistant, allowing leakproof gaskets to be made and put into service in just one minute. Sensor-safe, the Right Stuff® GREY seals instantly, forming a reliable, long lasting elastomeric rubber gasket that outperforms precut gaskets. Specified by major import OEMs, this material is resistant to powertrain fluids (oil, coolant, and ATF) and operates in environments to 450°F (232°C) continuous; 500°F (260°C) intermittent.

Applications:

• Automobile - Suggested Applications: Automotive gaskets, valve covers, oil pans, transmission pans, thermostat housings, water pumps, etc. 

Directions:

Clean and dry parts. Slice tip off cartridge. Attach and cut nozzle at desired opening at a 45° angle, and insert into a standard cauking gun. Apply a continuous 1/8" to 1/4" bead to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Assemble parts within five minutes, tightening bolts to recommended torque levels. Material will fill any surface imperfection. To reuse package, leave a 1/2" length of material extending out of the nozzle. Cured material will form a protective plug. To reuse, carefully remove the plug and dispense as before.

NOTE: Not for use as a head gasket or on parts in contact with fuels.
