100% Linen hand dyed with natural colours / Handmade in Portugal
This natural colour can be extracted from several plants but the most common is the Indigofera Tinctoria. After being harvested and squashed, the plants are soaked to ferment. Agitation and fermentation cause the water to change from green to blue. Afterwards, the water is filtered until a blue paste is obtained. From the paste, stones are formed which are then pulverised to be used as pigment.
Each piece is handmade and unique. Your dress may slightly differ from the one in the picture.
