Description: Lemongrass is a fast-growing, aromatic perennial grass that can reach a height of 1.5 meters (4 feet). It is native to Asia, but is today grown primarily in the West Indies, Africa, and Tropical Asia.

Common uses: Lemongrass Essential Oil is also known for its energizing and purifying effects. Used in facial toners because of its astringent characteristics, which may help to reduce the appearance of oily or greasy skin. Lemongrass Essential Oil, with its uplifting aroma, helps to sharpen the senses and can be used in the bath to soothe. Lemongrass has similar qualities as citronella.

Combines well with: pine, thyme, lavender, rosemary, marjoram, cedarwood, and lemon.
Aromatic Scent: Lemongrass Essential Oil offers a fresh, earthy, citrus aroma.
History: Lemongrass Essential Oil has long been used in traditional Indian medicine to treat infectious illnesses and fevers.
Caution: Avoid in cases of glaucoma and with minors. Use with caution in cases of prostatic hyperplasia, skin hypersensitivity, or damaged skin. Avoid using during pregnancy.
This essential oil should be stored in dark amber, blue, or green glass bottles because it has been shown to disintegrate aluminum bottles.

Storage recommendation: To preserve freshness and get the longest possible shelf life, move oils stored in metal containers (for secure shipment) into dark glass containers. Color and scent may alter as a result of the production process.
