The Carmex Carbide Tiny Tool – Face Grooving with Chip Breaker is a solid carbide bar engineered specifically for face grooving. From the Tiny Tools family, it’s designed to deliver straight, consistent grooves with a chip breaker to minimize buildup and post-cut finishing. With a 6 mm minimum diameter and a 1.5 mm groove width, this tool fits common grooving tasks and standard tooling setups.

Two coated carbide grades are offered to match cutting conditions: BXC – TiN-coated for low-speed cutting on a wide range of stainless steels (ISO P30-P50 / K25-K40). BMK – Sub-micron grade with an advanced triple PVD coating for extremely high heat resistance and smooth cutting across materials. General purpose for all materials.
