The X-Fusion Manic Gravel dropper seat post is the latest in a long line of Manic droppers that have established themselves as a functional, reliable and easily serviced dropper seat post regardless of their price tag.

With smooth action, design features that improve reliability, serviceability and compatibility, an included drop-bar specific remote lever and easy to understand owner's manual and setup guide, the Manic Gravel is a complete and versatile package. The saddle angle can be infinitely adjusted, thanks to the 2-bolt saddle clamp, and with the dropper height being infinitely variable throughout its travel.

At just 402g for the 50mm and 465g for the 100mm, the weights are respectable and the overall lengths will make them suitable to fit a number of gravel frames. The only diameter offered is 27.2mm but shims are readily available to fit these droppers to 30.9 and 31.6mm seat tubes which results in a lower overall weight.

Lift is provided by a reliable sealed air cartridge that, when it does come time to replace, is both simple and inexpensive to do so. The smooth action is thanks to the nylon bushes and triple brass keys and the sealhead includes a wiper seal as well as an o-ring to keep the nasties out.

Actuation style: The Manic Gravel is cable actuated and includes an alloy drop-bar specific remote lever that can be used on the left-hand side or the right-hand side. The cable clamp at the post means it can be used with remotes that place the barrel at the remote AND those that clamp the cable at the remote lever.

Spring style: The Manic Gravel uses a sealed, non-serviceable but easily replaceable, compressed air cartridge.

Infinite or finite adjustments: The post can be stopped anywhere throughout its travel.
