This was the standard brand tee / product for the Ace brand launch with a target version of the Ace logo. Can’t remember what the relevance of the target design was in 1992 being too late for Post-Jam Northern Soul Neo-Mod and too early for Cool Britannia Brit-Pop nonsense. Either way, it’s an iconic British styling like Fred Perry and Lonsdale, and the soul of Mod-ernists is never very far away in Northern towns and cities.

This is the original white version. We wanted to print the design on sky blue but we were talked round to white in the end…
