JLHD-RLC is the genuine JL Audio HD-RLC remote level control kit, designed to give you convenient, at-the-dash adjustment of a compatible amplifier’s level/bass output without accessing the amplifier.

• Function: Acts as an input-gain attenuator for quick level trimming (ideal for subwoofer level or overall amp level control, depending on amplifier setup).
• Cable length: 18 ft (5.5 m) control cable for flexible routing.
• Mounting: Dash/panel mount rotary control with black ABS knob.
• Install hardware included: Nuts/washers for secure mounting.

Compatibility

For JL Audio amplifiers equipped with a “Remote Level Control” jack, including many HD-Series, XD-Series, MHD-Series and M-Series models. Not compatible with amplifiers that use a Remote Bass Port (use JL Audio RBC-1 instead). Always confirm your amplifier’s connection type before ordering.

Installation notes (quick reference)

• Drill a 3/8 in (9 mm) mounting hole.
• Max panel thickness: 1/8 in (3.2 mm).
• Minimum clearance behind panel: 1 1/8 in square x 3/4 in deep (28 x 28 x 19 mm).
• If a replacement cable is required, a standard telephone-style cable with 6-position terminations can be used.
