Provenance

This ring dates to circa 1950s, however, the diamonds are of a much earlier date. The principal old-mine cut diamond would have been hand-cut under candlelight in the early 1800s, these diamonds will have come from the historic mines of India or Brazil. Surrounded by eight further diamonds of exceptional rarity. These are Peruzzi-cut diamonds, an even earlier diamond cut distinguished by their softly square outlines and pronounced square cullets.

• Total diamond weight: 1.20ct; 1 old mine-cut diamond & 8 Peruzzi-cut diamonds
