This work celebrates beauty in difference by depicting a muse living with vitiligo, which depigments the skin. The muse's eyes, a true mirror of her soul, are brought to the fore with particular intensity. At the same time, the facial features become more expressive as they move away from the eyes, reminiscent of Rubens' studies. The background lines, dark at the base and gradually lightening, symbolize the muse's loss of pigmentation. This work invites us to anchor ourselves in the present moment and celebrate diversity with patience and serenity.
