Clutchless Ball Screw Design: Unlike cheaper actuators, Lenco uses a ball screw that will not "drift" under load. It is designed to run in perfect sync for dual-lift applications (two actuators on one hatch).
Self-Limiting Motor: The ball screw spins freely when the hatch is fully opened or closed. This eliminates the need for internal limit switches and prevents motor burnout if the hatch is obstructed.
Corrosion Proof Construction: Features clear anodized aluminum tubing and high-impact Vandar mounting brackets with stainless steel pull pins for maximum life in saltwater environments.
Locking Safety: The stainless steel ram is designed to lock in any position, ensuring the hatch stays exactly where you put it, even in rough seas.
Ignition Protected: CE-certified and ABYC compliant, making it safe for use in gasoline engine compartments.

Installation & Usage Tips

No Switch Included: This model is the actuator only. If you are doing a new installation, you will need to purchase a Lenco Single Rocker Switch (#15096-001) or Dual Rocker Switch (#15098-001).
Mounting Angle: For maximum power, the lift should be installed as close to 90° (vertical) as possible., Lifting capacity decreases significantly if the mounting angle is less than 45° when retracted.
Emergency Access: In the event of a total power failure, the kit includes stainless steel pull pins.¹¹ It is highly recommended to rig these pins with a lanyard to a point outside the hatch so you can manually release the lift to gain access.

Important Installation Note: For optimal power, install the actuator as close to 90° as possible. To prevent damage, ensure the hatch does not bottom out before the lift is fully retracted; shimming may be required for a perfect fit.
