The first women's-specific trad climbing shoe, Scarpa's Maestro Mid Eco brings comfort to uncomfortable situations with a supportive IPC-Tension active rand...what the heck is that?

IPC-Tension combines the best features of both the Bi-Tension and V-Tension into a unique configurating that delivers a combination of both comfort and performance. The rand runs along each side of the foot providing the support and tension required for micro edging, while at the same time allowing the foot to flex naturally when smearing on glassy slabs.

The Maestro Mid also features Eco leather, and once again...what the heck is that? Lined Eco-leather is a biodegradable leather that has been tanned in an environmentally friendly way. The Eco certification indicates that no heavy metals, like chrome and mercury, are used in the tanning process. The Maestro Mid's Eco leather is lined and supportive for comfort and supremely durable. This leather even covers the laces near the toes so meters upon meters of splitters don't chew them to smithereens.

Women-specific, this shoe is built for female tradsters who wan't the comfort to climb all day on technical faces, wide cracks, and multiple pitches.
