Imbuko Wines is based on the Uitkyk farm near Wellington in the Boland winelands. Co-founder and Managing Director Theunis van Zyl brings over 30 years of industry experience. “Imbuko,” meaning “admiration for” in Xhosa, reflects a deep respect for heritage and craft.

From humble beginnings as a bulk wine supplier, Imbuko has grown into a respected, dynamic player in the wine industry, offering a wide range of products and services. Uniquely, the farm cultivates its own rootstock, allowing full control from vine to bottle.

To enhance its portfolio, Imbuko sources and blends wines from key Western Cape regions, including Stellenbosch, Paarl, Worcester, and Robertson. This diversity ensures a broad selection of distinctive styles with consistent quality.
