This is the miraculous release of the only previously unreleased recording from 1977 by Sam Moss, a guitar prodigy whose talent is reminiscent of Mike Bloomfield and has been passed down as a North Carolina legend! The bluesy guitar, soulful vocals, and highly accomplished roots and blues-rock songs have a Muscle Shoals sound and are still respected by many musicians. This is a wonderful work of music that has been in storage, but has been additionally recorded and remixed by Chris Stamey of The dB's, and has been beautifully revived.
