First vinyl reissue of the seminal UK post-punk female band, originally released in 1980, formed in 1979 by guitarists Kate Korris (The Slits), Jane Crockford (Bank of Dresden), Ramona Carlier ( All were at the center of London's late-70s art, film, and punk scene, some of them working as assistants on Malcolm McLaren's film "The Great R&R Swindle," and some of them also working with Joe Strummer and Sid Vishal. Strummer and Sid Vicious. The band was active for four years, fronting Madness and The Specials before disbanding in 1982, and is hard to find despite being at the center of its era. Songs on the album include "Paint It Black" by the Stones, "White Mice Disco," a remake of their debut song "White Mice," and a cover of Edith Piaf's "Milord," in addition to original material.180g weight LP, pressed from original masters, with lyrics on inner sleeve.
