The BRAX MATRIX loudspeaker series has stood for unique sound and quality characteristics for years.

So it is only logical that the further development of our 165 mm mid-woofer focused on the latest technologies and the highest quality materials in order to meet the BRAX brand's claim to pure, unadulterated music reproduction.

As with the new ML10 and ML3 loudspeakers, the unique "MicroSphere" coating on the ML6D also ensures outstanding sonic precision. With this patented technology, hollow ceramic microspheres with a diameter of just 75 µm are embedded in a polymer layer and applied to the membrane. This special coating guarantees perfect internal damping without negatively affecting the membrane weight. Instead, the innovative coating increases the rigidity of the hand-made cone and allows the bass-midrange speaker to play even more dynamically and with greater emphasis.

In terms of design and technology, the BRAX philosophy is continued without exception: the discreet, elegant appearance reveals smart details such as the new, hemispherical dust cap for an optimized frequency response in the upper midrange, the perfectly linear magnetic drive for minimal distortion, the multi-ventilated voice coil for high resilience and a streamlined, stable die-cast basket. Used as a low-midrange supplier, the ML6D completes audiophile sound concepts that are designed entirely for authentic music enjoyment.

As with all MATRIX products, each pair of loudspeakers has its own serial number, which is recorded in a service database. This high-end product is rounded off by the packaging in an elegant wooden box, which once again underlines the philosophy of the BRAX brand. A stainless steel mounting ring set including grid (MR6) is available as an option. Depending on the installation position, the solid stainless steel ring can be used as a mounting ring or to hold the grille.
