After a lengthy battle for the label, she signed with XL Recordings at the age of 19 and released her debut album "Long Way Home" in 2016, which is a stylish and artistic sound that connects club music and pop music. The debut album features hit songs such as "Operator," "Station," and "Falling Short," whose edited version by DJ Coetzee went viral around the world. Her personal experiences and stories about growing up are also colorfully expressed in the sound, layered with themes of water, climate, weather, and nature. While the dramatic development of the songs is a little less dramatic than on her debut, her signature electronic and minimalist sound, which is similar to that of artists such as James Blake, The xx, and Rhye, has been scaled up throughout the album. The song "Online" from the 7" that came with the limited import LP (clear vinyl) is included as an additional bonus track.
