World's first CD release! The best compilation album of Prince's early sound sources is now being released as a Japan-only project! This compilation album was originally planned for promotional purposes in 1985, and only 500 copies were pressed as LPs. Compiled mainly from remixes of singles from the Prince & The Revolution period, it was reissued as an LP version in a limited edition of 2,000 copies worldwide on Record Store Day 2019, and now it will finally be released on CD only in Japan! The label artwork from the LP version is enclosed in a color 4-page booklet, which includes a song description from 1985 and an early Prince chronology. The original artwork is labeled as "Pop Life (Fresh Dance Mix)", but the actual sound source is "Pop Life (Extended Version)" as on the original LP. Paper jacket. Original Japanese project.
