Aleksander, a Polish Jew of Sephardic origin, has to face the Nazis in the Warsaw ghetto in 1943 and fight against them in the 1944 City Uprising. After having lost his family in dramatic situations and after going through hard experiences as a prisoner of war, he reaches Spain. A plot that perfectly evokes the vicissitudes of the hundreds of thousands of Jews who were persecuted by the Third Reich and in which historical and fictional characters come together to offer readers a unique and exciting experience.
