To commemorate this milestone, Deutsche Grammophon will be releasing LPs over the course of a year. First, three titles recently released on CD will be made available on LP for International Women's Day (March 8). The latest album by a young American soprano who has performed in the world's top opera houses American soprano Nadine Sierra has been praised for the beauty of her voice, fluid technique, and rich musicality, and has been hailed as one of the most promising young talents in the world of opera today. On this album, she sings three of the most beautiful, challenging, and dramatic roles in 19th century Romantic opera: Donizetti's Lucia ("Lucia di Lammermoor"), Verdi's Violetta ("La Traviata"), and Gounod's Juliette ("Romeo and Juliette").
