As USB interconnect systems gain in popularity, so too do the demands on the cabling systems. L-com's U3A00021 series of waterproof cables can prevent costly repairs that are sometimes necessary when contaminants such as water and dust destroy standard unprotected USB connectors. These IP67 rated cables feature waterproof connectors to standard connectors. IP67 Male versions are shrouded and IP67 female versions are bulkhead and panel mount capable. Mates and dust caps are also available as are fully shielded, die-cast metal connectors for a full 360 shield that can ground to a panel or enclosure. Most options are available in USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 standards.
