You get felt strips you can attach to the inside of the head in different configurations to shape the attack, sustain, and low-end focus. Need more articulation for a fast indoor passage? Add more felt. Want the drum to ring out for an outdoor show? Pull some off. It gives your section leader real control over the sound without swapping heads. Level 360 collar ensures even seating on the shell.
