Discover this 100% organic Arabica coffee of the Typica and Caturra type, grown in Colombia in the Antioquia region around the Andes Mountains, at altitudes of between 1000 and 1900 metres. Naturally sweet and slightly acidic, this coffee will delight you with its delicacy.
The Typica variety was first cultivated by the Dutch in the Dutch East Indies, before being exported mainly to Central and South America. Now considered the "original" variety from which almost all currently grown Arabica varieties are derived, the classic Typica, which has become rarer due to its low yield compared to some of its mutations, enjoys a reputation as a quality coffee, appreciated by connoisseurs for its sweetness and fine flavours.
Caturra is a mutation of Bourbon, a coffee originally grown by the French on Reunion Island. Developing citrus notes and a certain acidity, its taste qualities increase with altitude while its yield decreases. Here grown at altitude, this bean is a high quality product, free of bitterness, which will delight lovers of a distinctly acidic coffee.
